Golf Club Facilities

Ex-Glamorgan cricket player, Tony Cottee (right), opens the new practice range at Fairwood Park, which includes the revolutionary 'Explanar' device.  The completion of the new practice area in 2007 now offers members some of the finest practice facilities available locally.

Fairwood Park has superb practice facilities devoted to both long and short-iron games as well as a practice putting green and practice nets close to the 1st tee, which are ideal for loosening up just before your round.  Coach and car parking is available for over 150 vehicles. 

Buggies are available for hire at £18 a round and since Fairwood Park is the longest golf course in Swansea, they are often a popular option with both members and visitors alike! 

Both members and visitors are welcome to use the restaurant and bar facilities at Fairwood Park.  The clubhouse has two main areas, the largest being the Lounge Bar, which is also available for private functions.  Next to the Lounge Bar is a Sportsman’s Bar, which is equipped with a full sized snooker and pool table as well as Sky TV.

The late 1990s saw considerable investment undertaken in the changing room and shower areas to provide quality facilities for both members and visiting golfers, and locker rooms were also installed.

Our Pro Shop is also one of the only ones in West Wales to offer 4-way camera golf swing analysis, an amazing tool that helps remedy defects in a golfer’s swing.
