Every Wednesday from 3.30pm our Stones section meet up for a 12 hole Stableford competition, and yesterday they were blessed with a glorious evening for golf. The Stones are a high handicap group of golfers and as such are one of Fairwood Park's most important sections as they help to initiate many of our newer members into other competitions at the Club.
Last night however wasn't the usual 12 hole Stableford event but the annual Rabbit's Pot, one of the rare 18 hole competitions which the Section runs throughout the year.

And in 2010 the honours went to Mr Phil James, a long-time stalwart of the section who won with a total of 39 points. Congratulations Mr Rolling Stone!
